Move 100km (or more!) in April and help fund abortions!

Every year thousands of people across Europe find themselves unable to access abortion care where they live. Hundreds are forced to travel from Poland to the Netherlands, and Ireland to Britain, to access abortion care they should be able to get at home. And it's not cheap - paying privately for an abortion can cost up to £3,000. That's where you come in. Join us this April and challenge yourself or your team to go the distance for ASN’s clients, and help us raise funds to make these journeys possible! Move 100km in April, or find a team and travel the distance from Warsaw to Amsterdam – and you could cover the cost of someone’s abortion.

This is a virtual challenge, and you can take part from anywhere. You can walk, run, jog, swim, cycle, skate or otherwise cover your distance – and everything you raise will go straight towards the costs of travel, accommodation, and abortion procedures in clinics for people in Europe who are trapped by bad abortion laws. From the event page, you can track your distance and see the other participants’ progress.

Individual challenge

• 100km - or 3.3km a day
• 280km - or the distance from Dublin to Liverpool.

You’re welcome to pick your own distance and this can be customised on your fundraising page.

Group challenges

If you can team up with some pro-choice pals, together you can cover some common distances that our clients have to travel to get an abortion.

• 800km - Galway to London
• 1,200km – Warsaw to Amsterdam

• Start sharing! Tag ASN on social media and let your friends know you're taking on the challenge
• Raise your first £25 to get your ASN t-shirt
• Throughout April, keep us updated on your progress towards your goal
